What this is
Layer-1 blockchainStratis is a 2016 network built for corporate customers on the .NET platform and C#: the bet was that Microsoft's millions of enterprise developers could write blockchain applications in a familiar language. The idea looked sound, but corporations chose closed solutions like Hyperledger and developers chose Solidity. The project is alive and still updated, standing as an example that convenience of tooling does not create demand by itself.
