Rujira (RUJI) — price, funding and open interest
RUJI/USDT perpetual on Kraken: price 0.2085, 24h turnover $1K. Updated in real time.
What this is
Decentralised financeRujira — an application layer on top of the THORChain network: an order book, automated liquidity strategies, lending and staking that work with NATIVE assets of different chains, without wrappers such as wrapped bitcoin. That is THORChain's whole idea — swapping real BTC for real ETH with no intermediary — and Rujira builds on top of it what was missing: an order book rather than just a pool. What this shows: across all its parts Rujira holds on the order of five million dollars, so it is a working but small protocol, and the token price will follow inflows rather than news. The main risk here is shared with THORChain: the complexity of cross-chain settlement, where mistakes have historically been expensive.

What the data shows
RUJI trades at 0.2085. Over 365 days it ranged between 0.1503 and 1.6258; the price now sits in the lower third of that range — 4% of the way from the yearly low to the high.
24-hour turnover is $1K — the 19th percentile for the year: trading is quiet.
The daily range is 3.6% and five-minute NATR is 0.00%. That range is in the 21th percentile for the year — an ordinary day for it.
The instrument lives on a single venue (Kraken). Liquidity sits in one book, so slippage here is more noticeable than on coins listed across several exchanges.
NATR is 2.21% on the minute and 2.07% on the hour — price grinds: the hourly range is barely wider than the minute one.
Over the day +0.05%, over the hour 0.00%, over the last five minutes 0.00% — it moved livelier an hour ago and has since gone quiet.
By turnover it ranks 1859 of 1921 instruments in the screener.
By daily range it ranks 1395 of 1921.

How to read this
- Funding is a payment between longs and shorts. A positive rate means longs pay shorts: the market is crowded long.
- The rate rank shows how unusual that rate is for this particular coin: 97 means above 97% of the last month, a rare skew. Without the rank the bare number says nothing — every coin has its own normal.
- Open interest is the money sitting in positions that are still open. Rising alongside price means new money entering; rising while price falls means shorts building up.
- The OI rank is measured in contracts rather than dollars: otherwise it would drift up with price alone and claim a record where nothing changed.
- NATR shows how much a coin moves relative to its own price. High NATR with high turnover is where today's action is.
