Decentralised financePuffer Finance is Ethereum liquid restaking focused on slashing protection: a validator can lose part of its stake for a mistake, and Puffer places a hardware safeguard between it and the network that physically prevents signing something wrong. The side effect matters more than the main one: the entry threshold for validators drops from 32 ETH to two, so an ordinary person can run a node. Restaking risks still apply — the yield comes from the same stake securing several services at once.
