News and our own observations: what happened to a coin and why

Two feeds in one: notes from our collector about what it saw in the data, and press headlines for each coin.

Observations

These are neither news nor signals. The collector watches exchange streams and writes down whatever stepped out of the ordinary: a volume surge, a sharp move, an extreme funding rate, a jump in open interest, a spread between venues.

  • Every entry carries a «since then» column — what price did after we noticed. It turns the feed from a stream of exclamations into a checkable record.
  • The same observation does not repeat in circles: each type has a cooldown, otherwise one active coin would fill the whole feed.
  • A turnover threshold cuts off the small stuff, where a volume surge means two trades.

Press

Headlines from open sources in your language, matched to coins by ticker mention. A coin's page shows only what concerns it. We do not rewrite other people's texts or pass them off as ours — these are links to the source.

Why they belong together

Data shows what happened; news sometimes explains why. A five-minute volume spike and a headline about a listing on a major exchange are one event seen from two sides.

Frequently asked questions

Are observations trading signals?

No. They mark that a metric stepped outside its usual range. What to do about it is the reader's call; the «since then» column helps judge whether it was worth anything.

What languages is the news in?

All five site languages. Each language has its own sources rather than a machine translation of a single feed.

Can I get observations in Telegram?

Impulses yes — that is a separate subscription in the bot settings. The other observation types currently live on the site only.
