Connecting blockchainsNomina is the new name of Omni Network, an Ethereum interoperability project: a unified layer through which an application deploys to all rollups at once and sees them as one network. In the 2025 rebrand, OMNI tokens were swapped for NOM at 1 to 75, and the focus shifted to unified trading over fragmented liquidity. The NOM token secures the network (restaking via EigenLayer) and pays for messages. The interoperability niche is crowded: LayerZero, Wormhole and Axelar sit right beside it.
