Today the most profitable coin is CFX: $0.06 net per day, about $1.88 a month at $0.08 per kWh. The rig breaks even at $0.096 per kWh.
What this rig can mine
| Coin | Algorithm | Hashrate | Net per day | Payback | Break-even per kWh | Where to sell |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CFX | Octopus | 45.8 MH/s | $0.06 | price unknown | $0.096 | binance, bingx, okx |
| ETC | Etchash | 78.2 MH/s | −$0.28 | price unknown | $0.007 | binance, okx, bybit |
| ZEC | Equihash | 106 Sol/s | −$0.30 | price unknown | $0.001 | binance, mexc, okx |
| CKB | Eaglesong | 918 MH/s | −$0.31 | price unknown | $0.000 | binance, bingx, mexc |
Income is calculated at $0.08 per kWh, a 1% pool fee and 98% uptime. Your own tariff can be entered on the coin page or in the catalogue.
What this rig is
NVIDIA TITAN V is GPU. It runs EAGLESONG, ETCHASH, OCTOPUS, ZHASH and draws 160 W: about 3.8 kWh a day and roughly 115 kWh a month. Multiply that by your tariff and you get the power bill that arrives regardless of what the coin is worth.
A GPU loses to an ASIC on speed but wins on flexibility: it runs several algorithms, survives the death of a single coin and sells not only to miners but to anyone who needs a graphics card. That is exactly why its payback is more honest when residual value is counted in.
Before you buy
- ·Wiring and sockets. A multi-kilowatt machine is not something you plug into an extension cord: it needs its own line, and in an apartment block also the agreement of whoever pays the shared meter.
- ·Noise and heat. An industrial ASIC means 70–80 decibels around the clock and kilowatts of heat that have to go somewhere. Home-friendly options — hydro versions and sound-proof enclosures — cost more and need space.
- ·Used units and warranty. The secondary market is tens of percent cheaper than new, but the machine already has hours behind it: ask where it stood and count payback with a margin for repairs.
- ·Pool and withdrawal. Income arrives through a pool: it has its own fee, payout threshold and schedule. Before buying, check that the coin has live pools and which exchanges you can withdraw to.
- ·The date of the calculation. The numbers here are live, but they describe today. Network difficulty almost always grows — assume the real payback will be longer than shown.
